Last week I went with my friend so he can return his designer jeans back to the store as those din not appear to satisfy his colour requirements.
Although he wore them for the past ten days, he asked to have a refund.
The store manager inspected the item by sniffing it and looking at the signs of them being worn and asked: “Are these jeans being worn?”
This is where my friend thought that he’d better had them dry-cleaned before bringing them back …..
So he answered: “Yes, they’d been tried.”
Here was the decisive moment that made the no (these had been worn and could not be returned) into a yes (these had been tried and returned under the policy).
He got the refund…
